Back then cooking was an all day affair because it required more time to cook for the entire tribe. Prior to the development of kitchen appliances our ancestors had to perform all meal preparation tasks manually; kitchen appliances were engineered to provide additional electric assistants during meal prep. Although we now have these modern conveniences accessible to us we must never forget the hard work, effort and dedication that was put into feeding our ancestors.

☆ Invented in the early 1900's a blender is an electric machine that you can't live without, it is used to cut food and ice into small pieces and can transform soft foods into liquid form. A blender is composed of the following components: a blender jar, blender jar lid, blender and blade cutter.
☆ A hand mixer aka electric beater is sleek and light weight, its simple design can beat eggs, mix cake batter and whips boiled potatoes. Electric beater components include: a motorized body, electric cord and set of 2 beaters.
☆ A toaster is a small appliance that uses radiation heat waves to brown bread products into toasted bread products; models can hold 2-4 slices and can be made out of either plastic or stainless steel. Toaster components include: two 2-sided heating elements, electric power cord, support bar to hold the bread products, heat level adjustment to determine level of toasting.
