Fire Element

Often times when we hear the term fire one may think of its destructive qualities however, fire provides us with the comforts that we at times might take for granted. Although many modernized cities utilized electric power; our foundational cities, buildings and homes continue to operate using gas for cooking on gas stoves, drying our clothes using gas dryers or for heating either by fireplace or gas heat. Heat is an energy source that can travel by way of radiation, it can circulate via convection and can be transferred between objects by conduction. When natural gas is ignited fire forms which produces heat that can then be used as energy for our modern communities. Fire needs the element oxygen in order for it to burn; containment and suffocation reduces oxygen access. Fire even possesses the ability to dance on water when there is a balance between both the fire and water elements.
