Meatball Sub
Ingredients:
1lb ground beef/ground chuck
1TBS cooking oil
2TBS paprika
1TBS Creole seasoning
3TBS garlic & pepper seasoning
1TBS onion powder
3TBS steak sauce
3TBS breadcrumbs
28oz marinara sauce
3TBS Italian seasoning
1 cup frozen spinach
4 slices provolone cheese
4 Bolillos rolls
16 slices of pepperoni
Instructions:
1. Prepare the marinara sauce as follows:
Heat electric skillet to 300 degrees, add marinara sauce, 2TBS garlic & pepper seasoning, 3TBS Italian seasoning and spinach, stir and reduce heat to warm. Simmer marinara sauce for 1 hour then remove from heat and set aside
2. While sauce is simmering combine beef, Creole seasoning, garlic & pepper, onion powder, steak sauce and breadcrumbs in a bowl; then form your meatballs
3. Heat electric skillet to 300 degrees and add cooking oil, then place meatballs cover skillet and reduce heat to warm. Cook until meatballs are brown
4. Once meatballs are browned cover with marinara sauce, then create your meatball subs by slicing bolillos rolls, place 4 slices of pepperoni then place meatballs, cover with marinara sauce and top with provolone cheese
