Eco-friendly Transportation

Historically the automotive industry has contributed to the excessive use of fossil fuels and the pollution that we are currently experiencing. In an effort to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels the automotive industry has become more eco-friendly by creating hybrid automobiles and electric vehicles. Hybrid vehicle engines do not require large amounts of gasoline fuel as previously required, whereas electric vehicles use electricity as a source of power. The effort to develop these newer modes of transportation can reduce the carbon emissions that are dispersed into our atmosphere. This technological advance has now given rise to electric busses and trains transporting many individuals daily in our metropolitan cities and we observe more hybrid & electric cars and trucks on the road now more than ever before.
