Star Ladder

Although the initial concept of developing a space elevator was conceptualized in the late 1800's the idea became more known in the late 1970's. The space elevator also known as the star ladder is a form of space transportation that will enable the travel between planets. To achieve this, the elevator car will be on earth connected to a tether to enable the car to ascend upward into outer space. This movement will require that the upward force be greater than the force of gravity for the car to accelerate upward. It is important to note that the ascension will be a cold one as the atmospheric temperature changes, however the sight that you will behold and experience is worth the journey.
